I noticed this while waiting for a DCP. I love the effect created on the ground by the multiple lighting sources and the wall and window. The gradient of each light's beam fading on the ground before being abruptly interrupted by another light source creates an awesome pattern on the ground. The wall and window also control the beams of light in regards to where and how the lights fall on the concrete. The difference in shade/tint of the light is also interesting to me because there is a combination of cool and warm flourescent beams. By the "doorway" there are two right and left diagonal backs crossing creating an awesome diamond effect on the ground.
oooooh I like the fact that these walls are acting like light barriers...the hallway in the background being brighter really plays with our sense of depth! I love the harsh lines of the different sources behind those walls and how they blend and feather out into the foreground. Really nice!
