Sean Deuel Week 7
As I was passing this parking structure I was interested in the the contrast of light and visibility between outside and inside the structure. From the perspective I was at the only thing I could see inside the structure was the little dots of light that are the sources for the light in the structure, while I can clearly see everything on the outside lit by the much brighter ambient sunlight. Having been in the structure I know that when you enter the structure it is not as dark as it appears from the outside. It is interesting to me to have this example of bright light making dim light seem nonexistent.

Neat contrast! Those little sparkles of light are kind of comforting and eerie looking at the same time...it also makes me wonder how different the image would look if the sun was shining through clouds or in a clear sky or at sunset...I bet the walls of the structure would really change color! I wonder what that would do to the inside of the structure...if it would still look that dark...nice!
